In keeping with the governmental structure of The International Communion of the Charismatic Episcopal Church, the parish is governed by the Rector’s Council. Appointed by the Rector, these men serve as a board of elders overseeing the life of the congregation. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the Rector’s Council strives to operate under the principle of consensus – prayerfully discerning the mind of Christ in unity.

In addition to the Rector’s Council, the congregation is served by the Parish Council. This council is composed of the leadership of the various ministry areas of The Cathedral Church of the Resurrection. The purpose of this council is to implement the vision, and to coordinate the activities of the parish.

–It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.
Ephesians 4:11-12
